How do I fix mail going to inbox after upgrade?

We upgraded computer and had techs transfer old hard drive to new one. In
process something happened with Outlook. Can't retrieve email from inbox
just unread mail. Help

Outlook version? Type of account? A better description of that you see?

Windows XP, Microsoft Office 11. Using Outlook to get mail from Adelphia
which it does but it doesn't show up in the inbox only the "unread mail"
file. Had no problem before the upgrade and transfer.

And where does your Unread Mail folder say the messages reside? I suspect
you've got a filter or view on your Inbox that is hiding the new messages or
you are not sorting by the Received date.
