WHen trying to produce labels using the mail merge feature I get each page
full of the same label. 200 pages, one for each name in my excel spread
sheet. I want one label for each name.

What version of Publisher are you using?
When designing your labels, do you see a single label on-screen or an
entire sheet?
Are you merging to a new publication or to the printer?

The same thing is happening for me using Publisher 2007. The form is
pre-made by my client - 3 up on a page and trying to merge individual data.
The same name also appears on labels per page when I merge. When merging data
I see a singe label. How do I get different names on each label or form if
there are several forms and labels on a page?

Thank you

Under the Print Setup options, do you have "multiple copies per sheet"
or "multiple pages per sheet" selected?

When you look at a Print Preview, you will only see one name. Did you try a
test print (on plain paper) to see if the merge was successful?
