How do I get a task report for a single resource?

I need to get a report that will allow me to sort and then print a list of
tasks by a single resource. This will allow me to send the tasks that the
individual is assigned to and ONLY their assignments. I have a number of
resources that are virtual and it would be a great help if I could "simply"
produce a task report for each one and send it to them so that they in turn
can update me on their progress. I have reviewed the pre-defined reports
and they would be great except that they include all resources on a print
cycle. Any suggestions?

Hi Daisy,

The To-Do List report runs the Using Resource filter and allows you to
select a single resource for the report. Does that report show what you
want to see?

If not, give us some additional information about what data you need to see
and we can see if there are some other options.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

The Canned Report allows you to filter on resource.
View/Reports/Assignments/To Do List....

Edit

Then, in the Filter Box, select "Using Resource" when you run the report,
you will need to select a resource from the dropdown.

daisy,
There are several ways to accomplish this. One method is to add a manual
page break after each resource name in the Resource Usage view. Each
resource with his/her assignments will then print on its own sheet.

Another method is to use the "Who Does What" built-in report and apply
the Resource Range filter. With this filter you will need to enter the
Resource ID for a given resource in both input boxes when the Resource
Range user input box pops up. Of course you could modify the existing
filter so it only asks for a single resource instead of a range.

Hope this helps.
