How do I get powerpoint to play a cd track all they way thru show

I am trying to make a photo presentation with a cd track playing thru the
entire show. For some reason I can't make it work. Can anyone please walk me
thru how to do this. I'm just learning powerpoint so I'm sure I'm doing
something wrong.
