How do I import a xls table with autonumber pk to access?

I have a xls table PK autonumber, name and city fields. I need to export that
table to a table (with same fields) in a related database in Acces. I used
the get external data option in access but failed.

How did it fail? Primary key constraint error? If so you are trying to put in
a number that already exists in the database.

What is your objective with the Excel data? Add all the data? Add only new
records? Modify existing records? Or some combination of all the above? What
you want to do will dictate how to do it.
