How do I include a small slide as a fragment of a bigger slide?

I have a powerpoint presentation designed for a data projector show.
Now I need to create a poster on the same topic, also in powerpoint.
The poster appears as a single big slide in powerpoint.
I would like to include whole slides from the data projector show as panels
in the poster.
I can copy all components, such as text boxes and images, of each slides one
by one, but then I would need to align them anew, i.e. do the work I have
already done.
Is there any way to avoid it?

Vadim,

change to slide sorter view and copy the slide. Open the poster slide in
normal view and choose "Edit | Paste Special | Picture" to insert a picture
of the slide.

Kind regards,
Ute
