How do I insert a pie graph on powerpoint 2000?

I can't figure out how to insert a pie graph on powerpoint
2000. When I click on the graph/chart button, it creates
a bar graph with no options except to change the data!

Please help me, thanks

Jenny,
Activate the bar graph by double-clicking it. Then select Chart | Chart Type
from the menu. In the standard types you can locate the Pie charts and
select it. Select the sub-type from the adjacent thumbnails and click on OK.
This will change the bar graph.

To edit/view the data for the chart, select View | Datasheet.
