Publisher has it's own newsgroup so you are welcome to post any further

The original poster is saying that he/she is more fimilar with Microsoft Publisher and already knows how to
insert a new page in it.

He/She just needs to know how to insert a new page in Microsoft Word as he/she is very new to it.

First off, they are called page breaks in Microsoft Word. In other words, you need to figure out how to insert
a page break.

In Microsoft Word, click where you want to start a new page.
On the Insert menu, click Break...
Click Page break.
Click OK.

With Word, you don't really have to insert a new page. Just start typing,
and when you get to the end of the page, a new one will appear automagically
when needed. It might help to think of Word as a text reflow application and
Publisher as a page layout application.

Oh, if you don't even have a page to begin typing on, though, you can click
the New Blank Document icon on the toolbar, and you'll get a new document
based on your Normatl.Dot (the basic normal template).

If you want to create a new page, you can use Insert/Break/Next Page, but
honestly, that might cause you more trouble than it's worth (although I
guess it really depends on why you want to create the new page).

'Its' own newsgroup, Jo, not 'it's'. What you've just said is "Publisher has
it is own newsgroup" which, you'll have to agree, doesn't make a lick of
sense... ;o) When it refers to 'belonging to it' its does not require an
apostrophe.

I am sooooooooooooooooooooo unworthy.

(I've been proofing and editing policies for the last two weeks. Till I get
home I'm bleary-eyed and tend to shut down a bit mentally.)

In addition, you could also use your keyboard to manually insert a page break. Just press Ctrl+Enter.
