How do I insert text on top of a picture?

In Word, I am trying to create (QUICKLY!) text over a picture -- it's for my
parents' 50th anniversary invite, and I have a pic of them, which I'd like to
use as a watermark behind the event information text -- 2 invites per
page--landscape format. I already have the pics set up on the page, but
can't figure out how to insert text on top of it! HELP! Thanks!

Select the picture and set Text Wrapping (little dog icon) to Behind Text.
Select Text Box and enter your text. Set the Text box to No Fill, No Line

Katie,
I always use WordArt - makes it easier to change colors and gives you alot
more options. Hope it helps.
