How do I insert the filename of an inserted picture in word

I want to be able to insert the path and filename of images that I insert
into a document so that I can find the images later. Something like the
FILENAME field but for the images, not document. Anyone have any ideas?

If you insert the image as a link (you can both link and embed if desired),
the field code will show the file path. This will be visible (via Alt+F9)
only when the graphic is in line with text; if it is wrapped, you will have
to unwrap it temporarily to make the code visible.
