How do I install a missing ActiveX-control?

B

Bo Hansson

In a Word VBA application developed in my own environment, I've used a
control (MSCAL) which is missing in one of my target machines.
I've tried to copy it into the target environemnt, but it is not recognized
by my application.

How should I do ?

Hi Bo

You need to put the control in the Windows/system32 directory and register
it. Select Run from the Start button and type:

Regsvr32.exe whabba32.ocx

substituting the name of the missing control for whabba32.ocx.

HTH and have a great day!
