How do I lock a text box in Word (xp pro)?

I have inserted text boxes containing our brand logo's and e-mail, website
and P.O. Box detials in a word docement. Every time I copy and paste some
text into the doc, it jumps around. How can I lock the text boxes so that it
stays in the order I want it to be?

Click on the text box so that the border is visible, next right click on the
border itself and choose format text box from the menu that appears.
Select the Layout tab and click on the advanced button. Uncheck the move
with text option and then click OK and OK. They should stay put now.
Another thing you can try is putting your logo directly into the header or
footer. Which keeps it out of the way of your text completely.
