How do I mail merge a card/document with people in an outlook cate

I'd like to email out a card (New Years wishes) to a distribution list (my
"New Year's category").

Each card would have the appropriate contact name merged in and then mailed
out to the individual in thta category.

I am running Outlook 2003.

It should be simple to do????
