How do I make bulletts into check off boxes?

These instructions are for Word 2002 and Word 2003.

Select your bulleted list. From the Format menu, select Bullets and
Numbering. Click the Customize button. The customize bulleted list dialog
box will open. Click the Character button, which will allow you to browse
through your symbols list to locate a symbol which fits your needs.
