How do I mass purge old appointments out of Outlook?

I've got dozens of old appointments in Outlook? How do I do a mass purge and
delete all these old appointments? Isn't there a way to tell outlook to
delete all appointments before a certain date? I've looked around, tried
Help, and found nothing. This is possible in my Palm PDA, where's it in
Outlook? Thanks.

Use the archive function. You can select items older than xx days to
archive and then also delete them once archived. You can access the items
by opening the archive.pst file so the items are not lost.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
