How do I match printed colour to the screen colour

M

Maureen

I am using XP and an Epson 740 Colour printer. The printed colour on clip
art or pictures does not match with the colour I see on screen. The same
applies to text colours or imported pre-coloured items. I know the colour
printed is different as I have hard copy of these latter items.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?TWF1cmVlbg==?=,

This is almost always the case, with any printer. For one thing, the computer
screen is capable of displaying colors that printers cannot print. For
another, the way colors are computed vary between graphics cards and
printers.

I happen to know that Canon is in the process of developing a color-matching
tool for some of its printers. No idea about any other companies...
