How do I move office 2000 upgrade to new computer?

I have Office 2000 on my old computer. It was a special upgrade version. My
old WordPerfect 5.1 was the product that qualified for the upgrade at that
time. I no longer have WordPerfect 5.1. I have a new computer and want to
install my Office 2000 on it. How can I do so? (Actually, I've purchased
Office 2003 upgrade. That's what I really want to install on my new
computer, but I think I have to get 2000 on there first so it will install
the upgrade!) Thank you

Hi Jim,

You shouldn't need to install Office 2000 first, but do have that CD ready when installing the Office 2003 upgrade edition. The
2003 edition will ask for the qualifying product and you can insert the Office 2000 CD at that point.

When you have a MS upgrade product be sure to keep the CD/disk for the product that was the 'qualifying' product for installing the
upgrade for future use.
