how do I open .art or bitmap files in Word

I cannot open any graphic (picture) file that was saved from the internet....

Word cannot open graphics file from your disk, but you can use Insert=>Picture=>From file to add them to your document.

When your temporary cache is full images will not save properly. In Internet
Explorer, tools, Internet Options, delete files.
