how do i password protect microsoft outlook?

Can i a password protect my microsoft out look email programme so that my
mails are not visible to anyone when the programme first opens..
Can someone plz help me as i have tried my best.
Waiting desperately

Right click on the root of your personal folders, usually Outlook Today, and
select properties, then advanced. Set your password from there and DO NOT
FORGET IT. Also, consider using a password protected screen saver.

Yes. But, make sure you don't lose your password!

One way... password protect your .pst file. Right-click the top level
Personal Folders item in the folder list, and choose Properties for Personal
Folders. In the General tab, click the Advanced button. There, click Change
Password. Leave Old Password blank (since you don't have one yet), and type
the password into the New and Verify fields.

Make sure there is NO checkmark next to "Save this password in your password
list". Otherwise, someone would only be prompted for password if they tried
to open your .pst on a different computer, or using a different User profile
on the same computer.
