How do i paste a table from Word to Powerpoint & keep its form?

i am trying to paste a table from a Word Document to a Power point
Presentation i am doing but i can't get it to paste in a Table form.

Chances are you didn't copy the whole table correctly. On the Word Document,
press ctrl-A so that it highlights the whole table, then right click and
press copy. On the PowerPoint doc, paste the document. Click on the table now
and the "tables and borders" properties toolbox should appears.

I have Since worked out how to do this thank you tohlz for you post but the
way to do iot is paste the table into excel first and then in to Powerpoint.
it might be the long way but it worked:)

Even a long-cut can be a good thing if it works!

In future, you might try using Edit/Paste Special in PPT. In PPT 2002 and
2003, at least, pasted Word tables are converted to PPT tables by default.
Edit/Paste Special gives you more paste options.
