How do I permanently delete an address that continually pops up?

I have accumulated many addresses that I no longer use. How do I get rid of
them?

In Outlook, you may delete the email account using the Tools -> Email
accounts dialog box (for Outlook 2003)...Also, which version are you using?

If you are using Auto-complete and a name appears in the list that is no longer correct, use the arrow key to select the name and press delete. Do this for each name that shows up.

account will be deleted without reading.
