how do i prevent Office automatically opening help windows?

it seems to happen in Outlook and Word mainly. It also sometimes opens my
file directory as well. Seems to occur automatically without me clicking
anything and usually when I'm in the middle of something else!
Any advice on how to disable this function?

If the microphone indicator is bobbing around, the mic is turned on.
Turn it off. Switch should be on the side of the mic.
