How do I print gridlines for blank columns

I want to make a form for use with pen or pencil. Using Excel I have created
the header and column headings I want, and the gridlines I want for the
headings show in the print preview. However, I can't figure out how to get
them to print for the blank columns that comprise the rest of the sheet. Can
anyone help?

One way is to select the range of cells you want, and use:
Format >> Cells >> Border
Click both "Outside" and "Inside", and choose the "Style" of line you want.
