How do I re-install Office from the Back-up D drive?

I have recently re-configured my XP computer, however now most programmes and
files from my previous set-up can only be found in the D:-Back Up drive. I
can find all the Microsoft Office files under D, but I am unable to
re-introduce these to my computer to run them. When I try, I get a message
saying: "the operating system is not presently configured to run this
application."Can anyone suggest how I can get Office back without using the
insatllation CD?

If you 'moved' the MS Office folders to another drive, you have essentially
broken all links to the files that are deposited in various Windows system
folders at the point of installation.. you could get lucky if you just moved
them back to their original positions..

However, if you moved them and then re-installed the OS, you will need
Office installation media, i.e a CD, to get them back..
