My computer is used and already has an older version of microsoft office on
it. I want to load my new version, but it wants me to delte the old one. I
didn't load it on here and don't have access to these disks. Any
suggestions?

No time like the present to gather up all the software you legally own
and then format and install the system cleanly.

Borrow the disks from a friend that has the identical version. There is nothing
on any MS CD that ties it to a specific Product Key. The only other alternative
I can think of is to delete all the files and folders and remove all references
to the old version from the registry...a daunting task. Or reformat the HD and
reinstall the OS and the new Office, after backing up all the files you can't
afford to lose.
