How do I replace a bar that disappeared?

I've done a bar graph in PowerPoint 2003. I went to make a correction to one
of the bars and I deleted by mistake, now I can't put another bar in the
graph. Note, as soon as I deleted the bar I tried to undue, but didn't get
that option.

Just type your data into the data sheet, and the bar should reappear...

If that doesn't work, then you'll have to give us more info on what you're
doing to try to get the bar back -- and what's happening when you try.

Ctrl + Z will undo the clear that you did, but it may be too late now. But if
you go to the Data Sheet you'll see that the data is still there, but it is
grayed out. Place your cursor in one of the cells and retype the contents and
hit Enter. The data and chart will be restored.

Hi Echo...thanks for your suggestion. I did that but it didn't work. I just
did the graph over. Thanks anyway and God Bless.

Yeh, if you've already saved the file, you may not be able to undo it. But if
it happens again, you can just close the file without saving it and then open it
again and your actions since the last save are gone. If you also use Sequential
Save, you'll always have a backup. See: http://skp.mvps.org/seqsave.htm. It's
free.
