How do I restore a Word document from a temporary file?

I have been continuously saving my Word document. I closed it, thinking the
file was the most recent (since I hit CTRL+S), but the changes were not there
upon re-opening later. Is there a place I can find temporary files from
which I can restore the most recent of my changes?
