How do I run a report by WBS in Project

I have defined a WBS for my project-now I want to runan earned value report
sorted by WBS levels 1-3. How do I do that?

Well it depends on how you defined your WBS. If you used the automatic
WBS structure that Project provides you can simply sort by WBS and make
sure the option is checked to "keep outline structure". If you have some
other WBS structure, then we need to know what it is before we can
provide any help.

I am using the standard WBS-but I don't see where I can limit the level that
shows up in the report. I only wnat to show the higher level items. Is
there a way to do this in the Outline view?

When you said you wanted to sort by WBS, I assumed you wanted the lower
level WBS items included. If you only want the first level of the WBS,
create a filter for outline level "1". Then sort.
