How do I save data to a CD

Having saved Excel data on a CD (CD-RW) I cannot update the data. It refuses
to to take on board new data

CD-RWs cannot modify existing files. You have to create a new file and
remove the old one.

Try copying the file to the hard drive, updating the data, saving the file,
then copying the file back to the CDRW.

when you copy to the hard drive, you may find that the
read only attribute is set and that you need to turn it off.
