how do I save document to print format to e-mail

when I save a document and try to e-mail it comes up to the person I sent it
to in read format . I want it to be in print format.

Document in "read format" vs. "Print format"? A "document" is an
attachment" and does not have a "read" format. If you want to resend a
saved e-mail with out quoted material indication then you will need to
change the setting in Tools, Options.

Bob,

I take it you're not familiar with 2003. Word automatically opens all doc
attachments in "reading layout" as opposed to "print layout". This is
something that can be changed in Tools > Options.

Yes I know about the "default" "Reading layout" view(disable it for most
folks). But I fail to see that your solution has anything to do with
the saved format of a forwarded document?
