How do I save my Contacts list and Calendar info?

My computer crashed and I lost all of my Calendar info and Contact list. I
am wanting now to start again anew and would like to back up only the contact
list and calendar information. Can someone tell me what files they might be?

The file you need to back up is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's
where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
