How do I schedule resources and send reminder emails in Project?

I can schedule the resource I just don't know how to have the program send
them an email reminder the week before they are scheduled to perform.

Hi Phyxture,

Are you using Project Server? If so, I suggest re-posting your question to
the Project Server newsgroup. If you are not using Project Server, I'm
afraid MS Project does not have the capability to send email reminders built
in. There is an add-in to Microsoft Project 2003 called the Workgroup
Message handler. It may be downloaded from the following URL:

I suggest also reading the following Knowledge base article before
installing the message handler is you choose to:

Thank you. Your answer lead to the solution I need. I'm only using MS
PRoject not Project server. I'm really only beginning to learn how to use the
program. I'm using it for personal items not business yet.
