I have not been able to send an email on outlook. There does not appear to
be a send option. I installed ms office 2003 and use windows xp.

Outlook\Tools\Accounts\Add Email and select the type of email client that you have been give(example:pop3 HTTP etc) then follow the prompts and fill the info in. In case you do not know the info then either call your ISP or look in your documentation

If you are referring to the From text box on a new email then this
doesn't appear on the new email you are creating. It does, however,
appear for the recipients when they receive it.

If you want to view the "From" information then go to Tools/E-mail
Accounts as others have suggested in this thread.

Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for
assistance by email can not be acknowledged.
