I use mailwasher pro to screen my emails, and don't want outlook to download
mail when I send emails out as it brings all kinds of junk into the junk
folder that I often have to deal with twice. Does anyone have a solution as
to how I can seperate the send and receive functions in out look, so that
when I send emails it doesn't automatically check my mail and bring it into
outlook?

Version of outlook?

Look at the send / receive settings (Ctrl+Alt+S) and configure the accounts
not to receive on a send receive.
