How do I space many objects an equidistant distance of my choice .

How do I space many objects an equidistant distance of my choice? I need to
have rows of circles that are the same size and the centers of the circles
need to be .1" from each other horizontally and the centers of the circles
need to be .086" from each other vertically. Is this something that can be
done using Publisher 2003?

Publisher 2003 Help returned this:
Arrange objects an equal distance from one another
1.. Select the objects you want to arrange.
2.. On the Arrange menu, point to Align or Distribute, and then
click one of the following options:
a.. Distribute Horizontally
b.. Distribute Vertically


And, yes, I understand that "help" is a four-letter word.
