How do I start Word without clearing clipboard.

I will copy something in another program but everytime I start Word the
clipboard is empty. How do I stop that. One of my computers does not do that
and I don't know how to setup that feature.

I believe this is an artifact of an Add-In. I seem to recall it being a
ScanSoft, or Dragon Naturally Speaking Add-In but am not sure. Which version
of Word are you using? You can see whether you have any Add-Ins active by
checking in a couple of spots.

If your copy of Word came with Microsoft Works Suite, you have an
add-in supplied by Works. That add-in is the thing that is clearing
the clipboard. The best fix is to uninstall the Works Add-In for Word.
