How do I stop Microsoft Picture locating pictures from the intern.

Amelia

I have just installed Microsoft office and noticed that MS Picture 2003 is
showing images of what I've been looking at on the net. How do I stop this
from happening?

If you have viewed an image in the Temporary Internet files folder using
Picture Manager then you are most likely seeing other images contained in
the folder.

Empty your Temporary Internet Files cache
In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
On the General tab, click Delete Files.

Thank you for your response, but I would like to stop Picture from reading
the Temp folder so the images don't appear at all. Is there some way to stop
it from happening in the first place rather than having to go and empty the
file every time I get on the net?

Hi Amelia,

You can remove the folder name from Picture Manager by
locating the OISCatalog.cag folder on your PC in Windows explorer
right click it and open with Notepad you can delete the
Collection line for that folder.

If you view that folder again in Picture Manager it will
again track (manage) the pictures in it.
