How do I stop my slideshow from cutting out after 5 minutes?

My Powerpoint 2007 slideshow cuts out after about 5 minutes of inactivity
during my presentation. Has this happened to anyone before and how can I
stop it from happening in the future?

Check you "power saving" settings. Sounds like the PC is trying to go into
reduced function mode.
