How Do I Stop Outlook Removing Pictures

When I receive an e-mail that has been sent with pictures in the body of the
message, Outlook 2007 has removed them from the body of the email and placed
them as attachments. How can I stop this from happening?

By which method were they added into the body?
Is the message being received in HTML format or in Plain Text format?
