How do I Turn Crop marks off

Is there a way of setting the crop marks option default to NO I DON'T WANT THEM instead of the default tick in the print crop mark box in the print menu - You'd expect to find this an an option in the Tools menu/options box, but it isn't there

No there is no option to permanently turn them off.
However, Crop Marks are only functional when you have the right conditions
for them. If you have your page size in Publisher and set to a smaller size
than what your printer properties are set to, only then will you get Crop
Marks, so it is a non-issue.
