How do I turn off auto placement of pasted images in powerpoint?

When I paste in multiple images on a PP slide they automatically move around
to make room for each other. I'd like to disable this function.

"Tools", "Autocorrect Options", on the "Autoformat as you type" TAB, uncheck
the bottom option (Automatic layout for inserted objects).
