How do I type the variable A over X without typing it like a fraction or
division (while using microsoft office)? Thanks

You could use an { EQ \o(A,X)} field. Make the A superscript and the X
subscript, and maybe format the X to be a slightly smaller font size
than the A (for instance, if the A is 12 points, try formatting the X as
10 points). If you use this variable alot, you can save it as an
autotext entry.
