How do I unlock my document ? (Micrsoft word 2003)

I am in Microsoft Word 2003 and when I try to type something in to my
document it says, " You cannot make a change to this document because it is
locked." Help !!!!!

Have you activated the software? (Help | Activate Product) Or is it an
expired trial version?

If you turn on your FORMS toolbar, there is a padlock there, you may be able
to unlock it.
