How do i update multiple slides at the same time? Can i link them from one
to another within the same presentation instead of making the changes on
twenty different slides?

Go to View > Master > Slide Master.
You can change the formatting from there.
For example, if you would like to change all your text in the title
placeholder from Arial to Times New Roman, you can go to Slide Master.
Then, click on the Title Placeholder and change the font.
After you have apply new font, close Master View.

Doesn't that work for formating only? What if I want to update data? For
example, I have a slide that gives me total revenue and i want to use this
number on my graphs on the following slides. Instead of updating the
datasheet on every single slide, can I link them to my first slide?

thanks,
Cyndi

You can hyperlink common info lines to a file containing the data. In this
case many slides would hyperlink to the same file. So you just edit the
file's info and it will change all the slides that hyperlink to it.
