I would like to use more than one style of template in a presentation. How
do I do that?
What is the difference between ppt and pps?

Depends on your version of PowerPoint. There is no difference between .pps and
..ppt other than the way PowerPoint opens them the ppt gets opened in the edit
mode, and the .pps is opened in the presentation mode. You might look here on
multiple templates. http://www.echosvoice.com/multipletemplates.htm
