How do I use predictive text in word documents?

Lavender

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use predictive text in a word
document and if so how do I set it up?
Many thanks

Hi Lavender,

If you mean something like
http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en
.... there's nothing built-in that you could use.

You'd need to monitor typing and present the predictive texts somewhere.
And you'd need a dictionary (or tap perhaps the Google site above as a web
service).

Both things aren't simple to get for a non-professional VBA coder (like me,
anyway).

If you need such a feature only very rarely, you could add a button with a
hyperlink to the Google site.

Regards,
Klaus

How do I stop the suggestions from coming up in a box under my sentance from
coming up (is this predictive text?) ie, if I type in 'he' into a form on the
web, it shows me a few suggestions of what word I could be trying to type in
a box below. I want to stop this from happening.

I guess you're referring to AutoComplete. This can be enabled/disabled in
the Insert | AutoText | AutoText dialog.
