How do I view word documents when I only have works 4.0

I can not open word documents with work 4.0, is there away to download word
on windows 98?

Works 4 uses a different format and will not open Word documents. You need a
full version of Word, which is not (legally) downloadable. You could get a
legal copy of Word/Office 2000 from eBay for not a lot of money.
