how do u get outlook to open hotmail inboxs, its not working

i set up the accounts and everything should be working, but it says there is
nothing in my inbox when i know there is! please someone help me

Unless you have a Premium ie paid for Hotmail account you cannot access it
from OL, unless perhaps you qualify under Legacy usage ie you've had a
hotmail account for some years
