I would like to be able to change my email client in Word from Outlook

You can open Outlook and when asked of you want it to be default, you answer
YES.. then you set your account up in Outlook..

OR

You can go to INTERNET OPTIONS in Control Panel or IE6, click on the
PROGRAMS tab and select Outlook as your default mail client..

Either way, you have to set up your account as you did for Outlook Express..

And for the record, WORD has little to do with anything other than the fact
that you can select WORD as your default mail editor.. I am sure that you
really meant to say OFFICE.. :)

Control panel->internet options->programs tab. Make Outlook, not Express
your default for everything except news groups.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, bEtHy asked:
