Hello-
You need to work from within the PageMaker publication and use the Place
command to place the external file in a picture frame or "window shade" (for
text files). If I remember correctly, PM also has an Import command that is
used for certain file formats which can't be Placed.
You may still not be excited about the results, depending on which version
of PM you are using. However, if your perception of "low resolution" is
based only on what your display shows you, it will probably print much
better (as long as the original placed file is available at printing time).
PM only stores & displays a low res version of images. Again, newer versions
may allow for hi res display through preference settings, but that can slow
down editing operations.

I am trying to copy charts and graphs from a MS Word document into a
pagemaker document. Doesn't work. Trying photoshop as an intermediate results
in a very low resolution picture. What is the simple way to do this?
